News from Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on April 30 said: Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union organizes the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026), launches Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026; and signs a cooperation agreement for the program "Beneficiency for union members and workers".
At the program, delegates together reviewed the glorious tradition of struggle of the working class and laborers around the world for the goal of peace, social progress and legitimate rights and interests; affirming the great role of the Vietnamese working class in the revolutionary process of the nation under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
After the anniversary ceremony, Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union launched an emulation movement to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026; to respond to the city's theme of Workers' Month "Da Nang workers innovate, create, improve labor productivity associated with digital transformation and green transformation" and Action Month on occupational safety and health "Strengthen assessment and control of risks to occupational safety and health, build a safe and healthy working environment in the digital age".
The launched contents focus on implementing the emulation movements "Good Labor - Creative Labor" associated with digital transformation and green transformation; promoting occupational safety and health; caring for the material and spiritual life of workers...
Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union also implemented the signing of cooperation agreements for the program "Benefit for union members and workers" at 8 units and businesses, in order to implement practical support and incentive policies, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual belonging to Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union for "having made outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong trade union organization in 2025".
Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union presented 33 gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the ward.
