News from Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 11 said: Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union organized commendation and awarded scholarships to children of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the 2025-2026 school year, combined with training in building, negotiating and signing collective labor agreements for grassroots trade unions in the area.
At the conference, the Ward Trade Union awarded 28 commendation scholarships to students who are children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers with excellent academic achievements in the 2025-2026 school year, each scholarship worth 700,000 VND.
Awarding 13 scholarships for overcoming difficulties, each worth 500,000 VND, encouraging disadvantaged children to continue to strive to rise up in their studies.
This is an activity within a series of activities towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
At the same time, it is also an annual activity with profound humanistic meaning of the Trade Union organization, contributing to adding motivation to the children of union members and workers, and at the same time showing the concern of the Trade Union organization for caring for and accompanying union member families.
Also in the program, grassroots trade union officials at enterprise grassroots trade unions were deeply trained in skills in building, negotiating and signing collective labor agreements.
