At the conference, representatives of the City Labor Federation presented decisions to establish 9 grassroots trade unions including: Quang Minh Vinashin Investment - Tourism Joint Stock Company Trade Union; Thu Minh Vu Joint Stock Company; Dang Phi Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd.; Thuy Giang Environment Co., Ltd.; IPC Plast Vietnam Co., Ltd.; HDN Technology Development Co., Ltd.; Huamei Co., Ltd.; Bac Hai Phong Accounting Services Co., Ltd. and Minh Long Construction and Industry Joint Stock Company.
The conference also announced the decision to admit 172 workers from 9 units who are members of the Vietnam Trade Union; assigning the Thuy Nguyen Ward Trade Union to monitor and manage 9 newly established grassroots trade unions.
Presenting decisions and flowers to congratulate newly established units, Mr. Dang Duc Hien - Head of the Inspection Department of the Trade Union Working Committee of Hai Phong City Labor Federation proposed that, immediately after the conference, Thuy Nguyen Ward Trade Union guide newly established units to quickly complete regulations and develop operating programs. The Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions plays a good role as an important bridge between workers and businesses and trade union organizations; and at the same time is the core force in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
According to the Thuy Nguyen Ward Trade Union, accumulated to the end of July 2026, the Thuy Nguyen Ward Trade Union has established 19 grassroots trade unions and developed more than 1,200 trade union members.
