These are grassroots trade unions established from May 29, 2026 to date.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions contributes to expanding trade union organizations, gathering workers into the Vietnam Trade Union organization, and improving the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Since the beginning of 2026, Vo Cuong Ward Trade Union has established 23 grassroots trade unions with a total of 2,056 union members, completing and exceeding the target of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions assigned, contributing to effectively implementing the task of developing trade union organizations in the area.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Van Hieu - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee of Bac Ninh Industrial Park acknowledged and praised the achievements of Vo Cuong Ward Trade Union in developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions.
Mr. Tran Van Hieu requested the Executive Committees of newly established grassroots trade unions to urgently develop operating regulations, promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; actively propagate and mobilize union members to well comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; effectively organize patriotic emulation movements, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
On this occasion, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation and Vo Cuong Ward Trade Union congratulated and encouraged the Executive Committees of newly established grassroots trade unions, and expressed their belief that units will soon stabilize their organizations, effectively implement trade union activities, and build an increasingly strong trade union organization.
