From specific tasks close to the lives of workers, the grassroots Trade Union of Quang Tri Trade Corporation Joint Stock Company has created a prominent mark in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. Not stopping at propaganda, the movement is concretized by models of care, mutual support, and sharing, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Quang Tri Trading Corporation Joint Stock Company (Sepon) was formerly known as Quang Tri Food Co., Ltd., established in May 1973. Through many stages of development, the enterprise has now operated under the joint-stock company model, with the grassroots trade union consisting of 10 affiliated departments. The entire unit currently has 552 officials, union members, and employees, of which female workers account for more than 35%.

Implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, the Standing Committee of the Company's grassroots Trade Union has directed departmental trade unions to integrate studying and following Uncle Ho into production and business activities, thematic activities, emulation movements and daily life of union members and workers.
A noteworthy point is that grassroots trade unions do not implement the movement in a formalistic way, but build ethical standards associated with corporate culture, spreading to 100% of union members and workers. From there, the sense of responsibility, working style, spirit of solidarity, and labor discipline have been clearly improved.
Every year, the grassroots Trade Union organizes 1-2 thematic study and activity sessions on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in many flexible forms such as direct, online, integrated into employee conferences, and departmental trade union activities. The rate of union members and employees participating reaches over 80%, and many units reach 90-100%.

A highlight in studying and following Uncle Ho at the unit is the caring models imbued with humanity. Since the Nham Dan Tet 2022, the Company has taken care of the "four parents" of employees, visiting elderly people aged 70 and over. This is a simple but touching family affection, creating a bond between businesses, trade unions and employees.
Along with that, the "For Children" Fund was established, after 3 years it has adopted 133 orphans until they are 18 years old, with a support level of 500,000 VND/child/month, accompanied by books, school lamps and necessary items. Each youth union member and trade union member of the Company is assigned to care for and accompany a child, turning charity activities into regular responsibilities.
The "Compassionate Clothes" wardrobe model with the slogan "Those who have excess give it, those who lack take it" also left a clear mark. To date, the wardrobe has received more than 100,000 sets of clothes from officials and employees throughout the Company and distributed them to ethnic minority people in Huong Hoa, Dakrong.

In addition to caring for the community, the grassroots Trade Union also coordinates to build the "Overcoming Difficulties" Fund to help workers borrow capital at 0% interest to build houses, repair houses, and purchase equipment for life. Up to now, the Company has removed all temporary and dilapidated houses for officials, employees, and workers in the unit.
The "Sepon Heart" Fund was also established to support workers in difficult circumstances, sickness, and accidents. To date, the fund has supported 16 cases with an amount of more than 700 million VND. In addition, the "Live Blood Bank" with nearly 500 participants has become a fulcrum when workers or relatives need urgent support.
Not only caring for welfare, the grassroots Trade Union also effectively launched the movements "Good labor, creative labor", built the "Sepon Creative Fund", and encouraged initiatives to be applied to production and business. Many initiatives have contributed to reducing costs, improving operational efficiency, and creating a spirit of emulation among officials, employees, and laborers.
In the period 2023-2025, the Company's production and business activities maintained stability in the context of a still difficult market. In 2025, revenue reached 1,643 billion VND, contributing 77.7 billion VND to the local budget. The average income of employees continued to be concerned, labor relations in the Company were stable, and there were no collective labor disputes, strikes or prolonged lawsuits.
With those results, the grassroots Trade Union of Quang Tri Trading Corporation Joint Stock Company has been recognized and rewarded for many consecutive years. In particular, the unit has just been awarded a Certificate of Merit for typical advanced students studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in the period 2023-2025 by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
From specific actions, the grassroots Trade Union of Quang Tri Trade Corporation shows that studying and following Uncle Ho is not a distant slogan, but starting from responsibility to work, kindness to workers and the spirit of sharing with the community.
