Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation
News from the Tam Ky Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 27 said: On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), the ward trade union organized many meaningful and practical activities towards union members and workers.
Typically, the program commemorating the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the art competition with the theme "Trade Union Melody - Connecting Belief".
Attending the anniversary and contest were Mr. Phan Xuan Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Da Nang City Trade Union Affairs Committee; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Tam Ky ward; leaders of agencies, units, businesses and more than 200 union members, workers and nearly 150 amateur actors from 11 grassroots trade unions in the ward.
At the program, Mr. Thai Hung Nhat - Party Committee Member, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Ky Ward, Chairman of the Tam Ky Ward Trade Union reviewed the glorious 97-year tradition of building and developing the Vietnam Trade Union.
Having gone through nearly a century accompanying the revolutionary cause of the nation, the Vietnam Trade Union has always been an organization representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, launching many patriotic emulation movements, making important contributions to the cause of socio-economic development of the country.
Promoting that tradition, Tam Ky Ward Trade Union will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center, building an increasingly strong trade union organization, truly being a reliable support for union members and workers.
Many gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances
On this occasion, the Tam Ky Ward Trade Union organized many practical activities to show gratitude and care for union members and workers.
The Trade Union Executive Committee presented gifts to relatives of martyrs and union members who are children of wounded soldiers in difficult circumstances; presented gifts of gratitude to retired trade union officials in the area.
At the same time, 10 out of a total of 50 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, were symbolically presented to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. The remaining gifts were transferred to grassroots trade unions to be handed directly to union members and workers.
Immediately after the anniversary ceremony, the art competition "Trade Union Melody - Connecting Belief" took place sôi nổi with the participation of 11 grassroots trade unions in the ward. The units brought many special singing, dancing, and music performances, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland, country, and the glorious traditions of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
The contest created an atmosphere of exchange and solidarity, contributing to improving the spiritual and cultural life among officials, union members and workers.
According to Mr. Thai Hung Nhat, the program to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the art competition with the theme "Trade Union Melody - Connecting Belief" is a meaningful activity, contributing to traditional education, strengthening the spirit of solidarity and cohesion among officials, union members, and workers.
This is also an activity contributing to creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and continue to build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
