According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", trade union levels in the province have synchronously, widely and effectively implemented many Tet care activities for union members and workers.
Before Tet, identifying the goal of "leaning towards grassroots levels, for union members and workers", trade unions at all levels have proactively advised Party committees, closely coordinated with the government, police forces, functional sectors and employers to strengthen propaganda and mobilization; promptly resolve legitimate and lawful petitions of workers; ensure security and order, production safety and the lives of union members and workers during Tet.
100% of enterprises with Trade Union organizations have developed salary adjustment plans according to Decree No. 293/2025/ND-CP of the Government. Salary and bonus payments are carried out in accordance with regulations, publicly and transparently. Thanks to that, labor relations in the province are maintained stably, and no illegal collective work stoppages occurred during the peak period before Tet.
During the 2026 Lunar New Year, there were 359,824 turns of union members and workers benefiting from care activities, with a total mobilized resource of nearly 115 billion VND.
Of which, more than 107.9 billion VND was used to visit and give gifts directly to union members and workers. Trade unions of communes and wards and grassroots trade unions coordinated to organize 25 "Binh Ngo Spring Tet Market 2026" programs with a total budget of 1 billion VND, providing many essential goods at preferential prices. 245 grassroots trade unions coordinated with employers to organize year-end meals and meetings with union members for more than 127,000 union members and workers, with an average support level of 40,000 VND/person, total budget of more than 5 billion VND.
In addition, many cultural and sports activities were organized enthusiastically. There are 432 grassroots trade unions of enterprises, public service units, grassroots trade unions and 41 commune and ward trade unions organizing the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party". At the same time, 776 enterprises with trade union organizations implemented Tet bonuses for employees.
The average income of workers in the province reaches from 7.6 - 7.9 million VND/person/month, contributing to ensuring life and creating motivation for workers to feel secure in sticking with the business.
The above results show the drastic and responsible involvement of Trade Union levels, along with the companionship of Party committees, authorities, businesses and the whole society in caring for union members and workers during the 2026 Lunar New Year.
