Emulation Block No. 02 - Central Trade Unions of administrative and career sectors and armed forces include the following Trade Unions: Civil Servants, Education, Health, National Defense and Police. The total number of grassroots trade unions (CDCS) and direct superior trade unions (CTTTCS) that Emulation Block No. 02 is managing includes 1,960 grassroots trade unions and 5 CTTTCS trade unions.
In 2024, units in Emulation Block No. 02 have promoted their roles and responsibilities, actively directed and guided trade unions at all levels to perform their representative functions well, taking care of and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
In particular, it has focused on directing trade unions at all levels to organize many practical activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Units in the bloc have many effective solutions in implementing the work of developing union members and training and introducing outstanding union members for the Party to admit; coordinating with professionals to well organize emulation movements according to the characteristics of the industry and profession; strengthening inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies on wages, social insurance, and working conditions for employees to gradually ensure their lives and income, contributing to stabilizing and developing the unit.
Trade unions at all levels have continuously innovated and improved the effectiveness of their activities, aiming at the practical benefits of union members and workers. The activities of the industry trade unions in the Emulation Bloc have made positive contributions to the innovation of the Trade Union organization, contributing to the development of a growing contingent of civil servants, public employees, workers (CCVCNLD) and the working class.
In particular, the Vietnam Education Trade Union visited 1,577 cadres, teachers, and workers (CBNGNLD) with a total amount of more than 1.2 billion VND; organized a cooperation agreement with Sen Vang Joint Stock Company and Bcons Group, in which Bcons Group has provisions to support CBNGNLD to buy social housing at preferential prices, and discount commercial apartments for CBNGNLD in the whole industry.
In particular, the Vietnam Education Trade Union coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training to mobilize over 21 billion VND to support teachers, students and schools in provinces affected by storm No. 3 - Yagi.
In celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Vietnam Health Trade Union organized activities to hold a Conference to honor outstanding nurses, award certificates of merit to 135 nurses with outstanding achievements in epidemic prevention and control in the period of 2020 - 2023; organize the "For Vietnam's Health" Running Race, Stage 1 and Stage 2 with nearly 8,000 union members participating; reward 21 collectives that actively promoted and mobilized union members to participate in the race; launch the first "Excellent Union Officer" Competition in 2024.
Vietnam Health Trade Union has also implemented "Union Meal" and supported 581,950,000 VND for units to implement; 33/110 Trade Unions have organized "Union Meal" with a total of 16,367 union members and employees participating...
The Public Security Trade Unions of units and localities proactively coordinate with functional units to grasp the situation of union members, propose to Party committees and professional leaders at the same level to ensure policies for union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year.
Of which, 100% of union members and workers received full salary and Tet bonus. Nearly 25,000 union members were visited and given Tet gifts, more than 10,000 policy families, meritorious people, and disadvantaged families were taken care of by the union with a total budget of more than 10 billion VND; 1,023 union members and workers were supported by the unit with train and bus tickets to return to their hometowns for Tet and return to their work units; 4 "Union Shelters" were donated with a total amount of nearly 200 million VND.
Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by units in Emulation Block No. 02 in 2024.
In the coming time, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung hopes that units in the emulation bloc will continue to organize activities to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; promote the work of developing union members and building the Party; actively apply digital transformation in union activities, especially in propaganda and education work for union members and workers; continue to launch effective emulation movements to welcome Party Congresses at all levels and celebrate major national holidays; mobilize intellectuals to contribute opinions to documents of Party Congresses at all levels; proactively and promptly do a good job of grasping the thoughts and aspirations as well as supporting and sharing, creating the best conditions for union members and workers affected by the merger of agencies and units...
At the conference, the units in the bloc signed the emulation agreement for 2025 and elected the bloc leader for 2025, the People's Public Security Trade Union Committee.
