Trade unions support workers' children in studying

Hà Vi |

Ninh Binh - Many activities to care for children of union members and workers are being implemented by trade union levels, contributing to adding motivation for students to study.

Not only caring for the lives of union members and workers, many activities aimed at workers' children are also being concerned and implemented by the Trade Union levels of Ninh Binh province. In which, the activity of donating sets of English reading and learning markers to union members' children is a practical concern, contributing to creating conditions for children to access modern learning methods, while reducing the cost burden for workers' families.

English reading and learning markers are digital technology application devices, supporting children from 5 to 10 years old to study at home. Each set of devices can be used for many children in the same family, helping to promote long-term effectiveness and spread value to many beneficiaries.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai - a worker at Taesung Global Vina Co., Ltd. (Thanh Nam ward, Ninh Binh province), could not hide her joy when receiving a meaningful gift with her child.

Ms. Mai shared: "The economic conditions of our workers are still difficult, so learning devices like this are very practical. Applying technology to learning will help my children access foreign languages more easily, and at the same time reduce the pressure every time I tutor them after work. I hope my children will have more interest in learning English and actively study right at home.

Similarly, Mr. Phung Tien Sy, a worker at Thang Loi Co., Ltd. (Thanh Nam ward, Ninh Binh province), has been attached to the business for 10 years, and highly appreciates the Trade Union organization's concern for union members' children.

Mr. Sy said: "My daughter is in 5th grade and loves English very much. This gift is right for the children's learning needs. I see that this is not only material support but also encouragement for the children to try to study. As workers, we always feel warm when the Trade Union not only cares for workers but also cares for the children of union members".

According to Ms. Le Thi Hoa - Vice President of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation, the work of caring for and educating children is always identified by trade union levels as one of the key tasks, because this is not only concern for the children of union members and workers but also an investment in future human resources. Therefore, trade union levels in the province regularly implement many practical activities to respond to caring for children, contributing to creating a learning, playing and comprehensive development environment for children, especially children of union members and workers.
