Indicators show determination
Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just signed and issued the Program "Improving the quality of inspection and supervision work in the period 2026-2030". The program aims to improve the effectiveness of Trade Union (CĐ) activities, while better protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members, workers, and laborers (ĐV, CN, NLĐ) in the new context.

Built on the basis of the Resolution of the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2026–2030, the program identifies the general goal of improving the quality and efficiency of the activities of the Trade Union Inspection Committees at all levels. Thereby, contributing to preventing, detecting and preventing violations related to the Charter, resolutions, and directives of the Trade Union organization; and ensuring the management and use of trade union finances and assets in accordance with regulations.
One of the focuses is to improve the capacity of the contingent of officials working in inspection work. The province sets a target that in the term, 100% of officials of the Provincial-level Trade Union Inspection Committee and 70% or more of officials of the Grassroots Trade Union Inspection Committee (CĐCS) will be professionally trained. This is considered a key factor to improve the quality of inspection and supervision throughout the system.

Along with that, specific targets are set quite drastically: every year 100% of grassroots trade unions develop and implement inspection and supervision plans; 100% of units conduct financial inspections at the same level. The Provincial Labor Federation strives to inspect and supervise at least 15% of grassroots trade unions annually on finance and 10% on compliance with the Vietnam Trade Union Charter.
Notably, the program requires timely handling of 100% of signs of violations immediately upon detection; and at the same time ensures that 100% of complaints and denunciations under the trade union's authority are resolved. For cases under the authority of other agencies but related to the rights of employees, trade unions at all levels will participate, clearly expressing their views in at least 70% of cases.
Specific solutions
To realize the goals, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation has proposed many groups of synchronous solutions. First of all, it is to raise awareness and strengthen the leadership and direction role of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of Trade Unions at all levels in inspection and supervision work. Propaganda and dissemination of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter and related regulations will be promoted, creating unity throughout the system.

In parallel, the consolidation of organization, training, and fostering of inspection officials continues to be emphasized. Every year, trade union levels will review and consolidate the Inspection Committee, building a team of officials with firm political bravery, understanding of laws and trade union nghiệp vụ.
A noteworthy point is the requirement to innovate the operating methods of the Inspection Committee, increasing both the quantity and quality of inspections and supervisions. The inspection content will be chosen with focus and key points; conclusions ensure objectivity, accuracy, and timely recommendations for handling violations. At the same time, pay attention to supervising the implementation of post-inspection conclusions to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

In addition, the application of information technology is promoted, helping to promptly update new documents, supporting lower-level trade unions in deploying inspection and supervision tasks.
With a clear system of targets and specific solutions, the program "Improving the quality of inspection and supervision in the period 2026–2030" is expected to create a strong change in discipline and order in the Trade Union organization of Dong Thap province, contributing to building a strong Trade Union organization, truly a reliable support for union members and workers.
