On June 26, a working delegation of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) led by Mr. Le Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial LĐLĐ - came to work and exchange experiences with the Vinh Long Provincial LĐLĐ on the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions and organizing trade union activities.
At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - informed that after the merger, Vinh Long province currently has 124 communes and wards. Currently, the Provincial Labor Federation manages 5 commune and ward trade unions; 645 grassroots trade unions and professional unions with 177,391 union members out of a total of 185,090 workers.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh also shared experiences in the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, arranging the organizational structure after consolidation, and at the same time exchanged solutions to improve the quality of trade union activities and care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Le Manh Hung thanked the welcome and open sharing of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation. He said that the shared experiences will help the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation have more references in the process of task implementation, contributing to improving the effectiveness of trade union activities in the locality.
The working session is an opportunity for trade union organizations of the two provinces to exchange practical experiences, strengthen cohesion and coordination in performing tasks in the coming time.
