According to the weekly work program from June 22 - 26, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) will implement many key tasks related to trade union activities, taking care of union members and building a strong trade union organization.
During the week, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation participated in professional training conferences. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation attended training and contributed opinions on the draft guidelines for implementing the project "Trade Unions promote building a culture of occupational safety in the workplace in the period 2025 - 2030" in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the same time, Comrade Member of the Standing Committee in charge of Policy and Law - Labor Relations attended a training conference to improve professional policies and laws organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in Hanoi.
One of the outstanding activities is the organization of the opening ceremony and final round competition of the 1st Vinh Long TDTT CNVCLĐ Congress in 2026. This is a playground to promote the movement of physical training and sports among workers, civil servants, and laborers in the province.
The Provincial Labor Federation Inspection Committee continues to inspect and supervise the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; inspect the management and use of trade union finances and assets at 5 grassroots trade unions according to the plan.
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation completed the dossier requesting the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to award Certificates of Merit to units with outstanding achievements in organizing activities to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress; guiding the establishment of trade unions in Cai Von ward, Tan Hanh ward and Giao Long commune.
The Provincial Labor Federation also continues to hand over district-level trade union land and housing facilities in the former Tra Vinh and Ben Tre areas to the People's Committees of communes and wards; organize voluntary blood donation in the remaining two areas and prepare conferences to summarize trade union activities in the first 6 months of 2026, and deploy the results of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026 - 2031 term.
