According to a report by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, from June 15-21, trade union levels in the province continued to implement many key activities, in which the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions is prominent, contributing to consolidating and expanding trade union organizations in the area.
During the week, the Provincial Labor Federation newly developed 463 union members, established 6 grassroots trade unions and dissolved 1 grassroots trade union according to regulations. This result shows the efforts of trade union levels in gathering workers to participate in organizing, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
Along with that, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a Conference to commend typical families of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the period 2021 - 2026 and summarize 15 years of implementing Resolution No. 6b/NQ-BCH and Directive 03/CT-TLĐ on the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home". The program took place on June 21 at Con Phung Tourism - Service - Trading Co., Ltd. with the participation of 270 delegates, commending 32 typical families and rewarding 25 collectives and individuals.
The Provincial Labor Federation Party Committee organized a conference to summarize the Party building work in the first 6 months of 2026 associated with commending typical party members in performing tasks in the second quarter. The activity contributed to creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere among the contingent of cadres, civil servants, and trade union workers.
During the week, the Inspection Team of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation also conducted an inspection of the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union for the 2025 term at De Heus Co., Ltd. At the same time, the unit issued many documents to implement tasks on digital transformation, dissemination of laws and response to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026.
At the grassroots level, many activities to care for union members continue to be effectively implemented. The Trade Union of Viet Vuong 3 Trading Co., Ltd. surveyed and supported the construction and repair of 10 "Viet Vuong 3 Shelter" houses with a budget of over 850 million VND. Grassroots trade unions coordinated with the CEP Fund Vinh Long Branch to support loans for 140 turns of union members and workers with a total amount of over 3.72 billion VND.
