After 5 years of implementing Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, trade union levels in Hue City have implemented many practical models, strongly oriented towards grassroots levels, taking care of the rights of union members and workers. Thereby contributing to innovating trade union activities, building harmonious and stable labor relations (preliminary conference held on May 19, 2026).
According to the Hue City Labor Federation, in the period 2021 - 2026, studying and following Uncle Ho will be implemented in conjunction with the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Every year, the Hue City Labor Federation assigns the target of building a "Skillful Mass Mobilization" model for grassroots trade unions; concretizing emulation criteria for trade union officials in each administrative and non-business block and enterprise.
Trade union levels have innovated propaganda methods, taking advantage of social networks to disseminate laws, spread good people, good deeds and effective models of studying and following Uncle Ho. Thereby contributing to raising awareness, spirit of responsibility and innovation in the team of trade union officials and union members.
Many union member care programs have been effectively implemented such as "Union Member Welfare", "Union Member Wishes", "Tet Reunion". Hue City Labor Federation has signed contracts with more than 30 businesses providing preferential products and services for union members, with discounts from 15 - 30% compared to the listed price.
In the past 5 years, trade union levels have supported more than 750 million VND for union members who are sick for a long time; built and repaired 137 "Trade Union Homes" with a total budget of 3.5 billion VND. The Fund to support capital for poor workers has also disbursed about 45 billion VND for 234 loan projects, creating more jobs for more than 2,250 workers.
Besides the achieved results, Hue City Labor Federation also recognized some limitations such as the study and following of Uncle Ho in some units being still formalistic; the work of building and replicating advanced examples is not uniform; the propaganda of typical examples has sometimes not created a deep and widespread spread.
In the coming time, Hue City trade union levels determine to continue to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style associated with patriotic emulation movements; strengthen propaganda in flexible and modern forms; promote the exemplary role of trade union officials; proactively grasp thoughts and aspirations to promptly solve arising difficulties.
Mr. Le Minh Nhan - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, Chairman of the Hue City Labor Federation emphasized that studying and following Uncle Ho needs to continue to go deeper, becoming a regular task in each official, union member, and worker; thereby contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, meeting the requirements in the new period.
On this occasion, Hue City Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.
