Ms. Doan Thi Minh Thoa, who has worked for Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Thang Long Industrial Park for 17 years, shared with tears in her eyes: The Trade Union has given me a belief to rise up because whenever I encounter difficulties, I am encouraged and shared both materially and spiritually by the Trade Union. Ms. Thoa has 2 children (one child 9 years old with autism, one child in 6th grade). Her husband works as a construction worker, the money earned each month is unstable.
Ms. Thoa's income at the Company, if she works part-time, will be about 8-9 million VND/month. Therefore, her family has to save money to both cover living expenses and have money for medicine for her children. Difficulties piled up on difficulties, but fortunately, Ms. Thoa as well as many workers in difficult circumstances at the Company always receive timely attention and support from the Company and the Trade Union organization.
At the program, 60 workers in particularly difficult circumstances from 3 factories received support of 500,000 VND in cash and gifts... On July 28 - the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, each worker will receive 100,000 VND transferred to their account.

In which, shift meals increased from 24,000 VND to 28,000 VND. Monthly skill allowance each rank increased by 200,000 VND, to 800,000 VND, 1,000,000 VND, 1,200,000 VND, 1,400,000 VND. Currently, the company has paid higher wages than the regional minimum wage prescribed by the Government. New employees who have joined the company have been paid a basic salary of 6,200,000 VND.
Although the company's salary level is higher than regulations, according to Mr. Ngoc, the National Wage Council's unified proposal to increase the regional minimum wage in 2027 by an average of 7.8%, applied from January 1, 2027, will be the basis for the Company's Trade Union to negotiate and negotiate for the 2027 salary level to increase at a reasonable rate, suitable for the production and business situation.
100 billion VND to provide long-term care for union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and occupational diseases
