News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on May 9th said: The City Labor Federation and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Da Nang City organized the signing of the Regulation on coordination of activities for the period 2026 - 2030.
According to regulations, the two units will coordinate to implement many practical activities for trade union members, youth union members and youth-age workers working in agencies, units, businesses or residing in communes and wards in the city.
The content of coordination focuses on propaganda of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; organizing emulation movements, cultural and artistic activities, sports; caring for the material and spiritual life and supporting the improvement of health for young workers.
The two sides also focused on organizing dialogue programs between young workers and Party committees and authorities; consulting, medical examination, free medicine distribution; communication on reproductive health, disease prevention, labor accidents; supporting career orientation, job introduction and improving vocational skills for young workers.
At the same time, coordinate to implement activities for children of union members and workers during International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and Action Month for Children.
In organization building work, the City Labor Federation and the Da Nang City Youth Union will coordinate to survey and consolidate the activities of Trade Unions, Youth Unions, and Associations in non-state-owned enterprises; propagate and mobilize the establishment of Trade Unions and Youth Unions in enterprises; foster outstanding union members to introduce to the Party for consideration and admission.
It is expected that the coordination program for the period 2026 - 2030, every year, the two units will organize about 20 classes to propagate policies and laws for workers; 1 program of dialogue with city leaders; 2 free health consultation and examination programs; "Youth Workers' Day" program; activities to care for workers' children and many other social security activities.
In particular, the reality TV show "Connecting Hearts" is expected to pilot about 6 programs in 2026 to create a playground for exchange and connection for young workers.
The signing of the Coordination Regulation is expected to promote the role of the Trade Union organization and the Youth Union in caring for and supporting young workers; contributing to building a dynamic and creative young workforce, meeting the development requirements of the city in the new period.
