On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, on February 16, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation organized a program to visit, wish Tet and give gifts to 30 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances working at Vinh Long Public Works Joint Stock Company.
The activity demonstrates the role of the Trade Union in caring for the lives of union members and workers, especially the force doing environmental sanitation work, contributing to maintaining a green, clean, and beautiful urban landscape during Tet days.
Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Le Nguyen Lan Anh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, and 30 workers who received gifts.
At the program, each worker was presented with Tet gifts to share difficulties and help workers have more conditions to welcome a warmer new year. These gifts show the timely concern of provincial leaders and the Trade Union organization for the direct labor force.
Ms. Quach Thi My Linh, a worker cleaning the environment, expressed her joy when receiving the attention of the Provincial Party Committee leaders and the Provincial Labor Federation. According to Ms. Linh, the job is special, and income is still limited, so support during Tet is a practical source of encouragement, helping the family feel more secure.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang acknowledged and highly appreciated the work of caring for workers, especially those in difficult circumstances during Tet, by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation.
Ms. Trang emphasized that caring for workers' lives not only has material significance but also shows the companionship and sharing of the Trade Union organization.
Visiting, wishing Tet and giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances is an annual activity of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, contributing to affirming the role of the Trade Union in protecting and caring for the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
