To practically celebrate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on August 14, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a visit to businesses and presented gifts to union members and workers of TERA SURPLUS Vietnam Co., Ltd.
At the program, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - highly appreciated the efforts of businesses in maintaining production and business, creating stable jobs and coordinating with the Trade Union to take care of workers' lives.
According to the report, in the first 6 months of 2026, TERA SURPLUS Vietnam Co., Ltd. achieved over 65% of the year's production plan, and orders ensure jobs for employees until the end of the year. The company currently has nearly 800 union members and employees, including 607 female employees. The average income of employees maintains from 6.5 - 7 million VND/month. Grassroots trade unions have coordinated with businesses to organize Employee Conferences, sign collective labor agreements and periodic dialogues.
Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh said that the grassroots Trade Union has also implemented many practical activities such as giving Tet gifts, gifts to female union members and children, and supporting workers in difficult circumstances, with a total budget of nearly 400 million VND from the beginning of the year to date.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation requested businesses to continue to maintain jobs, increase income, improve working conditions, and create favorable conditions for Trade Union activities; Grassroots Trade Unions need to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members.
At the same time, grassroots trade unions need to promote care for female workers, coordinate with businesses to launch the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income", thereby improving productivity, quality and employee welfare.
On this occasion, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation presented 50 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift included 500,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 400,000 VND, total value of 45 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Suong - a worker at TERA SURPLUS Vietnam Co., Ltd. - expressed her joy when receiving the gift from the Trade Union organization. She said that this is a practical source of encouragement to continue working.
Ms. Hong Suong promised to try to complete the assigned tasks well, improve her skills, comply with regulations and be attached to the business for a long time. Timely care and attention add motivation for workers to overcome difficulties.
