On August 13, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) visited and worked at TV. Pharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and presented gifts to encourage union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The activity is part of a series of programs to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, practically celebrating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2/9.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation said that in the context of production and business activities still facing many difficulties, TV. Pharm still maintains jobs, income, working conditions and fully implements insurance regimes for employees.
TV. Pharm currently has 1,024 employees, of which 1,002 are trade union members. In the first six months of the year, the Company and the Trade Union have spent more than 200 million VND to care for union members, employees and their families.
Mr. Linh highly appreciated the Company and Trade Union's concern for creating motivation for production and business; building the "TV. Pharm Warrior" award program, organizing monthly and quarterly preliminary reviews and commendations, encouraging employees to compete.
In the coming time, when the Company implements arrangement and adjustment of the operating model according to the Group's orientation, Mr. Linh hopes that businesses and grassroots trade unions will continue to coordinate and accompany, ensuring appropriate, public, transparent, and regulated labor arrangement.

Mr. Linh also hoped that the grassroots trade union would continue to promote its role as a bridge, grasp the thoughts and aspirations, supervise regimes and policies; innovate operations, and take better care of union members, especially female workers and people in difficult circumstances.
At the program, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation presented 50 gifts to workers and union members in difficult circumstances. Each gift included 500,000 VND in cash and necessities worth 400,000 VND, total value of 45 million VND.
As one of 50 workers receiving gifts, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam expressed his joy and emotion at the concern of the Trade Union organization. He thanked the working delegation and said that the gift was a meaningful source of encouragement.
