As a remote and disadvantaged locality in Dak Nong province, in 2024, Dak Glong District Trade Union completed 100% of the target assigned by the Standing Committee of Dak Nong Provincial Federation of Labor.
In 2024, the unit visited and presented 165 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of 121 million VND.
1,489 union members and workers were informed about the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's policies and laws.
The unit admitted 62 new members and introduced 63 outstanding union members to the Party organization for consideration of admission.
Ms. Vu Thi Oanh, Permanent Vice President of Dak Nong Provincial Labor Federation, acknowledged and commended the results achieved by Dak Glong District Labor Union.
Ms. Oanh requested the Executive Committee and the Dak Glong District Labor Federation to direct grassroots unions to implement the resolutions and programs of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Units need to step up propaganda and participate in activities to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country and locality.
The district trade union must effectively implement Action Program No. 10/CTr-LDLD (October 11, 2024) of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation on implementing Resolution 07/NQ-BCH (August 29, 2024) of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Focusing resources on caring for the welfare of union members and workers in the new situation".
The unit needs to organize the implementation of the Charter and instructions for implementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union (term XIII), the Resolution on promoting the development of union members, and establishing grassroots trade unions in non-state enterprises.
Trade unions at all levels must launch and organize emulation movements among workers and civil servants to achieve achievements in welcoming Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The district trade union also needs to respond to the patriotic emulation congresses at all levels towards the national patriotic emulation congress and celebrate major holidays and important events of the country.
Authorized by the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Dak Nong Provincial Confederation of Labor awarded the Medal "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union" to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ly, Chairman of the Trade Union of Quang Son Primary School, and Mr. Doan Trung Kien, Chairman of the Trade Union of Dak Glong District Party Committee.
The Standing Committee of the Dak Glong District Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 14 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Excellent workers and building strong trade union organizations in 2024".
