Giving 20 bicycles to children of union members in difficult circumstances
As part of a series of activities to care for children of union members and workers before the new school year and the Mid-Autumn Festival of 2026, on September 20, Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union organized a program to donate bicycles and Mid-Autumn gifts to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances; and launched the model "Trade Union Bicycle Fund - Accompanying children to school".
At the program, leaders of Duy Xuyen commune and the Commune Trade Union expressed their concern and sharing about the difficulties that some union member and laborer families are facing.
In the context that expenses at the beginning of the new school year have become a burden for many families, the timely companionship and support of the Trade Union organization and businesses is not only materially meaningful but also a practical source of spiritual encouragement for students.
Each donated bicycle is not only a means to help children travel more conveniently to school, save time and effort for their families, but also sends care, love and faith in their future. Through this, the program contributes to adding motivation for children to overcome difficulties, strive to study, train and rise up in life.
At the same time, the program continues to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members and workers; acting as a bridge to mobilize social resources, spreading the spirit of mutual affection and responsibility of businesses and the community towards children in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, the Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union presented 20 bicycles, worth a total of 30 million VND, of which Sedo Vinako Co., Ltd. MTV supported 15 bicycles and Nhat Anh Co., Ltd. supported 5 bicycles. In addition, the organizers presented 267 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children of union members and workers.
The total budget of Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union mobilized from various resources to care for and give to children on the occasion of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival is 115 million VND.
These gifts, although simple, contain the affection and sharing of the Trade Union organization and accompanying units, contributing to bringing the children a more joyful, warm and complete Mid-Autumn Festival.
Accompanying me to school
In particular, within the framework of the program, Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union officially launched the model "Trade Union Bicycle Fund - Accompanying children to school".
This is a model built in a sustainable, long-term direction, parallel and complementary to the "Raising Steps for Children to School" model that the Commune Trade Union has effectively implemented in the past time.
Through the model, Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union continues to mobilize the companionship of businesses, grassroots Trade Unions, philanthropists and organizations and individuals to support bicycles for children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, helping them have more favorable conditions to go to school, continue to nurture dreams and rise up in their studies.
The "Trade Union Bicycle Fund - Accompanying Children to School" is oriented to become an annual activity, expected to be organized at the beginning of the new school year or the annual Mid-Autumn Festival.
Through this, bicycles will continue to be given to students who are still in difficulty, so that each journey to school is not only less arduous but also has more companionship, love and faith.
From the bicycles given today, Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union wishes to continue to connect more hearts, more social resources, so that the spirit of "Accompanying children to school" is increasingly spread, contributing to better care for children of union members and workers and supporting them on their journey to conquer knowledge.
