News from the Trade Union of Nam Phuoc Commune, Da Nang City on August 30 said that the unit has just organized a training conference on trade union skills in 2025 for more than 100 commune trade union officials.
Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Oanh, Deputy Head of the Industrial Parks Trade Union of the City Labor Federation attended and directly reported.
At the conference, delegates were trained on 4 key topics, including: Trade Union Law (amended), Trade Union Charter, skills for grassroots trade union activities; Law on Social Insurance 2024 and the role of trade unions in supervising the implementation of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies; enhancing the role of grassroots trade unions in implementing democracy, negotiating and protecting the rights of workers at the workplace; the role of grassroots trade unions and workers in building a safe and civilized working environment without evils.
This is an activity to help grassroots union cadres update and foster legal knowledge, expertise, and practical skills, while mastering the methods of operation and effectively applying them to practice at the unit.
Thereby, improving the capacity to manage, represent, and protect the legitimate rights of union members and workers, contributing to building a strong union organization, meeting the requirements of tasks in the context of implementing the commune union model under the City Labor Federation according to Regulation 301-QD/TW of the Secretariat.
On this occasion, the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union launched a response to the online contest "Workers, civil servants, and laborers learn about the Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law in 2024" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
