The Construction Industry Trade Union currently manages 32 grassroots trade unions with nearly 2,600 cadres, workers, civil servants and employees. In 2024, trade unions at all levels in the industry have strived to overcome difficulties and challenges, innovated their methods of operation, focused on implementing and effectively organizing emulation movements and focused on caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees.
With the goal of ensuring that all union members and employees are taken care of during Tet, the Industry Union organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia", giving gifts to 269 union members and employees with a total amount of 147 million VND; organizing visits and giving gifts to 25 employees in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 25 million VND.
The grassroots unions proactively coordinated with the professionals to give gifts to 1,600 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of nearly 480 million VND. All units gave Tet bonuses to workers with an average bonus of 3.5 million VND/person.
The industry's trade union launched the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene with the theme "Strengthening occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace and in the supply chain" and presented 81 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 24 million VND; coordinated with 3 enterprises to organize "Union Meals" for 720 union members and workers; organized the funding support for 2 union members to build warm houses with an amount of 100 million VND.
Directing grassroots trade unions to propose coordination with professionals to review, amend, supplement or sign new collective labor agreements (CLAs) in accordance with regulations and actual situation of the unit; organizing 30 inspections and monitoring the implementation of regimes and policies for employees...
On the occasion of the new school year, the Industry Union organized a meeting to commend and reward 120 children of union members and workers who achieved high academic achievements and overcame difficulties to study well with a total amount of over 40 million VND; grassroots unions coordinated with professional organizations to organize recreational activities, commend and encourage 1,620 students of all levels in the 2023-2024 school year with a total amount of 1.6 billion VND...
With contributions in activities, at the conference, Thai Binh Construction Trade Union was awarded the flag of excellent leading unit in the industry sector in 2024 by the Provincial Labor Federation, many collectives and individuals received awards from the trade union organization.
