One of his typical initiatives is "Improving and installing a two-sided layer separator on the YYC-S180 automatic fabric spreading machine". The improvement helps increase output by about 25%, reducing time and labor. According to calculations, the initiative benefits businesses by about 423.36 million VND/year.
According to Mr. The Anh, before improvement, the YYC-S180 automatic fabric spreading machine could only spread on one side. For goods codes with lines, snow coatings or products requiring lines and symmetrical patterns, workers had to spread fabric alternately manually. This work requires 3 workers and takes a lot of time, while the accuracy depends quite heavily on the workers' operations.
From that reality, he and his colleagues researched and found ways to improve the machine to be able to automatically separate and combine fabric layers as required.
The solution is to manufacture an additional fabric tightening layer subset on the machine; use a round slider, fix one end with a shaft joint to separate and merge multiple layers, and the other end is fixed with an inner lace knob. At the same time, the machine is arranged for a worker to stand the machine, just adjust the knob to choose the appropriate spreading mode" - Mr. The Anh said.
His initiative helps bring high benefits to orders requiring symmetrical lines, feathers or patterns, helping finished products have high aesthetics, meeting technical requirements well.
With his contributions in production labor, Mr. Vu The Anh was awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2023 and 2025.
Proactively listen to accompany workers
Not only having initiatives in production, in his position as Chairman of the Trade Union of Hanul Co., Ltd., Mr. The Anh also actively coordinates with the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union and the Board of Directors to implement and organize many practical activities for workers and laborers at the workplace.
