Many workers have decided to change the working method of paying wages over time to paying wages based on output to increase income.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom (38 years old, Thai Binh) used to be a shoe soles worker. As soon as she saw that the newly opened garment company had many attractive policies, the female worker did not hesitate to register to work.

Ms. Thom agreed to give up 15 days' salary at her old company to work at a new company. Because she believes that the new environment can help increase income and enjoy special incentives from the company.

Ms. Thom said that the newly established garment company has a policy of rewarding 2 million VND to workers. The unit price of the garment stages is also superior to other companies in the area, helping to ensure better salary.

"I have never been a seamstress, and I am no longer young, so I am quite worried when deciding to quit my job and move to a new job. However, after 1 month of sewing, I feel quite satisfied" - Ms. Thom said.

According to the female worker, in the first month of studying, due to not having much experience, she also received more than 8 million VND in salary while working only 9.5 hours. At the old company, during this time, she only received more than 7 million VND.

Ms. Thom said that the above salary is the salary for the first month of work. Up to now, after 3 months of working, the female worker has basic experience, an average salary of 10 million VND/9.5 hours, something she never thought she would achieve at her old company.

"I think we should not be afraid to change jobs, especially jobs that have never been done before. However, you should carefully research the company you want to work for, the job, the regime, salary, and environment to feel secure in sticking with it" - Ms. Thom shared.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh (21 years old) said that changing to a new job has helped her feel more secure about her monthly salary and bonus.

When switching to sewing, female workers are paid according to output, at the end of the year they receive a Tet bonus of 1 month's average salary, much higher than the basic salary.

Talking further, the female worker said that at her old company, she had to work in rotation for 2 weeks, 2 days, 2 nights. Every day, Ms. Ngoc Anh works 10.5 hours but earns only 9.5 to 10 million VND/month. At the new company, to get this salary, she only needs to work daytime for about 9 hours.

What Ms. Ngoc Anh is satisfied with at the new company is that she does not have to work at night like in the old place, thanks to which her health is better guaranteed. On the other hand, every month, groups and individuals with high productivity still have quite attractive additional bonuses.

The female worker also told herself to improve her skills more than the female to achieve a high salary like many other workers.

Working at a company that pays salaries based on output and capacity is largely determined. I will try to improve my skills to produce more output in a short time and be given many good stages by the team leader. The goal for the next 3 months is to achieve an average salary of 11 million VND/9 hours of work" - Ms. Ngoc Anh said.

Talking about the difficulties of changing jobs that she has never done before, Ms. Ngoc Anh shared that she should not think too much about when she has not tried.

"In the new workplace, there is always a person who wholeheartedly supports before placing the sewing line, just need to persevere and try to do their best, I will definitely be able to do it" - the female worker expressed.
