The grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. has just coordinated with the Company to organize the program "Exchange plastic bottles for gifts". The activity has attracted a large number of union members and workers to participate.
Right in the morning when coming to work, workers brought 1.5-liter recycled plastic bottles to the collection point to exchange for practical gifts. The activity attracted about 300 union members and workers to participate, creating a lively atmosphere and spreading the message of environmental protection in the business.
According to the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union, the program is organized to raise awareness of sorting, collecting and recycling plastic waste; and at the same time encourage union members and workers to form green living habits, contributing to building a civilized and clean working environment. The program also aims to respond to the Action Month for the Environment and spread the spirit of environmental protection among all union members and workers.
Ms. Ton Nu My Hanh - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. said that each collected plastic bottle not only helps reduce the amount of waste discharged into the environment but also contributes to building a greener, cleaner and friendlier working space.
Today's small actions are a positive change for tomorrow's environment. Each plastic bottle brought by workers is a practical contribution to environmental protection and building green businesses," Ms. Ton Nu My Hanh shared.
In addition to the activity of exchanging plastic bottles for gifts, the program also propagates and mobilizes union members and workers to actively participate in planting and caring for green trees, contributing to improving the landscape of the workplace. The message sent by the Organizing Committee to workers is: "Each plastic bottle you bring is a small action, a great contribution to the green environment".
Through the program, the grassroots trade union hopes that union members and workers will continue to join hands to reduce plastic waste, strengthen reuse and recycling, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful working environment, towards the goal of net zero emissions by 2050.
On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union presented 300 gifts to union members and workers participating in the program. This is one of the practical activities to raise environmental awareness and create a spread of green lifestyle among union members and workers at enterprises.
Previously, the Company's grassroots trade union also organized the "Green Road" activity with the participation of trade union officials, union members and company employees.
