The grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. (Thanh Loc Industrial Park, An Giang) has just organized the "Green Road" activity with the participation of trade union officials, union members and employees (NLĐ) of the Company.
Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union of Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. - Ton Nu My Hanh said that with the motto "Each union member acts for the environment", union members and employees have participated in collecting waste and cleaning the road from the company premises to the gate of Thanh Loc Industrial Park. The activity contributes to improving the landscape, raising awareness of environmental protection and building a green - clean - beautiful working environment in the enterprise.
Previously, the grassroots trade union actively prepared and promoted propaganda to respond to the Action Month for the Environment by hanging banners in areas with a large concentration of workers and communication to groups and departments in the Company. Messages such as "Building green - clean - safe workplaces", "Joining hands to protect the environment for workers' health", "Each union member - One action for the environment" were widely spread, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of everyone towards environmental protection.
Ms. Hanh also informed that the highlight in this year's series of activities is the program "Exchange plastic bottles for gifts" organized by the grassroots trade union in coordination with businesses, expected to be held on June 24th. The program encourages union members and workers to collect used plastic bottles to exchange for practical gifts for daily activities. Thereby, contributing to reducing plastic waste, forming the habit of sorting and recycling waste among workers.
This activity is also associated with the project "Greening toilets - Improving the working environment" implemented by the grassroots trade union in coordination with the Company's Board of Directors. The Trade Union mobilizes union members and employees to contribute aquatic plants and many other suitable green trees to decorate and renovate the toilet space at the Company.
The message "One plastic bottle recycled, one green sprout spreads", the project aims to build a working environment friendly to nature, creating a green, clean, and airy space for workers. After receiving green trees, the grassroots trade union will coordinate with businesses to deploy decoration and greening of toilet areas, contributing to improving the working environment and enhancing the spiritual life of workers.
