Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. is a 100% Korean-invested company specializing in manufacturing export sports shoes. The total number of employees is currently more than 6,600, of which union members account for 99.98%.
Ms. Ton Nu My Hanh - Chairwoman of the Company's Grassroots Trade Union said that the Grassroots Trade Union always receives attention, coordination to create favorable conditions, and support from the Company's Board of Directors, management levels, union members, workers (NLĐ) and the Provincial Labor Federation to regularly closely lead and direct.
The grassroots trade union and the Company's Board of Directors always coordinate, accompany, share information, and find optimal solutions for employees to feel secure at work and ensure income and life. The enterprise is interested in improving the working environment and welfare to retain employees. In dialogue and negotiation work, there are specific plans and procedures, listening and exchanging in the spirit of goodwill and cooperation for the common goal of harmony, stability and joint development.
The grassroots trade union always proactively advises and coordinates with the Board of Directors to organize periodic dialogues and unexpected dialogue conferences to resolve issues related to the rights and interests of workers.

In the period from 2023 - 2025, 6 periodic dialogues, 3 employee conferences, 1 extraordinary dialogue conference were organized, receiving and summarizing many opinions and recommendations from employees and were resolved promptly.
Ms. Hanh shared that the Trade Union deploys the collection of workers' opinions through many information channels, then the Trade Union classifies issues, small, simple questions that can be improved will be coordinated to be implemented immediately; major issues with common impacts should prepare documents and solutions to anticipate arising issues to control the problem or in arguments and dialogues to be more convincing.
Through dialogue, many contents were adjusted in a direction that benefits workers such as improving working conditions, adjusting salaries, and increasing the value of meals. Enterprises did not have collective labor disputes, contributing to building harmonious, progressive, and stable labor relations.
Ms. Hanh informed that the Collective Labor Agreement between the grassroots trade union and Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. was newly signed in June 2025. Right from the beginning, the Chairman of the grassroots trade union reviewed the contents of the Agreement, proactively and directly presided over, prepared the content, and developed a roadmap to negotiate the terms to be included in the new agreement, organized to collect collective opinions of employees and successfully negotiated the Agreement with terms that are more beneficial than the provisions of law.
Specifically, the regime of periodic salary increases, each level is 1 year apart, the minimum difference between levels is 2.5%. Skill allowances, work allowances and seniority allowances, child support allowances, living allowances, travel allowances, and attendance bonuses are included in the agreement.

Ms. Huynh Thi Ut, a worker at Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. shared: "I go to work to raise 2 young children, which is also difficult, but the company and the Trade Union are very interested, often have care programs, give gifts, and help in time. In addition, preferential regimes are also better, so we are also assured to work and take care of our children. Besides, workers also feel happy and warm when they are cared for in work and life.
Ms. Hanh said: "After announcing the application of the Collective Labor Agreement, employees are very excited about the changed contents, especially the content of the periodic salary increase regime, which both encourages them to enthusiastically produce and increases their salary for social insurance contributions every year.
In addition, the grassroots trade union regularly monitors and supervises the implementation of collective labor agreements, receives and reflects promptly. The grassroots trade union always listens to the thoughts and aspirations of employees, builds regulations on coordination with employers, well implements grassroots democracy regulations, and answers employees' problems. Ensuring 100% salary for employees, no cases of salary arrears or social insurance arrears. Periodic health checks and occupational health checks are ensured to be implemented in accordance with regulations.
Working conditions for employees have been significantly improved by listening to opinions, thoughts, aspirations, and caring for life from businesses and grassroots trade unions. In the coming time, grassroots trade unions will focus on activities to care for employees' spiritual lives, coordinate with employers more closely to improve the working environment to become better and better.
