On the afternoon of September 12, many employees brought banners and placards to the offices of Ninja Logistics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (ECRM VN Technology Co., Ltd.) in Vinh City and Hanoi City, demanding that the company settle unpaid wages and social insurance.
Ms. Hoang Minh (name changed), an employee of ECRM VN Technology Co., Ltd., said: “We live on our monthly salaries, now we have no other choice but to cover our living expenses. We need the company to resolve this as soon as possible.”
According to employees working at ECRM VN Technology Co., Ltd., since July 2024, the company has not paid full salaries and social insurance on time. Although employees have contacted the company's management many times to request a resolution, there has been no satisfactory response so far.
“We have sent petitions many times, but have not received any response. We feel abandoned and disrespected,” Ms. Minh affirmed.
According to the reporter's investigation, ECRM VN Technology Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Ninja Logistics Co., Ltd. headquartered in Singapore. A representative in charge of human resources of the company said that on September 10, Ninja Logistics Co., Ltd. announced through a meeting that it would close ECRM VN Technology Co., Ltd. and not allow employees to express their opinions.
On September 11, the company sent people to the offices in Hanoi and Vinh, asking employees to sign a resignation agreement.
However, the employees did not agree because the company still owed them their salaries and social insurance.
According to this representative, the company requires that if employees want to pay their salaries, they must sign the above-mentioned termination agreement.
The employees hope that the company will soon take measures to ensure the rights of the workers. The delay in salary payment has greatly affected the lives and minds of the employees here.
On September 14, speaking with reporters, Ms. Le Thuy Dung - an officer in charge of union work at ECRM VN Technology Company Limited said that the workers' complaints about being owed wages and social insurance were correct.
"I have discussed this issue directly with the Company's leaders but it has not been resolved yet" - Ms. Le Thuy Dung said.
