On September 13, Mr. Le Dinh Ngoc - Vice President of the Labor Federation of Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province, said that the unit had just participated in resolving the case at Bao Loc Waste Treatment Plant (belonging to Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company) of unpaid wages and social insurance of employees.
It was a working session between state agencies and representatives of the leaders and employees of Bao Loc Waste Treatment Plant belonging to this Company. Here, the parties noted that in early July, the Company had paid more than 900 million VND in wages owed to employees.
However, the Company currently owes 70 employees nearly 1.8 billion VND in wages. This is the remaining wages from December 2023 to the end of July 2024 that the Company has not yet paid to the employees. In addition, as of the end of August 2024, the Company still owes social insurance contributions for 12 employees, an amount of more than 78 million VND.
Previously, in early July 2024, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team of Bao Loc City People's Committee conducted an inspection and requested the Company to pay salaries and social insurance for employees.
However, up to now, the Company has not fully implemented these contents and has not reported according to regulations. The representative of the leadership of Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company - Mr. Le Viet Hung, member of the Board of Directors - said that the Company is currently changing the contents of the business registration certificate. Including perfecting the legal representative.
Mr. Le Viet Hung committed that the Company will pay all outstanding salaries and social insurance contributions to employees in September 2024. At the same time, he affirmed that he will discuss and reach an agreement with the Company's Board of Directors, and provide feedback to the People's Committee of Bao Loc City before September 15, 2024.
Mr. Nguyen Cao Thang, a worker at Bao Loc City Waste Treatment Plant, said that the company has been holding back his wages for a long time, so he is currently facing a lot of difficulties; especially at this time, when his family has to worry about paying for their children for the new school year.
"I hope the authorities will intervene promptly so that the Company can pay us soon to resolve our difficulties and stabilize our lives," said Nguyen Cao Thang.
