Based on the needs and wishes of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Tinh Loi Garment Company Limited, on September 19, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation held a conference to disseminate knowledge about the Law on Social Insurance (SI) to more than 200 union members and workers at the enterprise.
Tinh Loi Garment Company Limited, located in Lai Vu Industrial Park (Lai Khe commune, Hai Phong city) is one of the large enterprises with a scale of more than 12,000 workers. The propaganda session aims to provide employees with complete, timely and accurate information about their rights and obligations when participating in social insurance. Thereby, workers better understand the important role of social insurance in ensuring social security, helping them feel secure in working and stabilizing their lives.
The City Labor Federation invited reporters who are in-depth and experienced professional staff of the City Social Insurance to directly convey the content and answer questions from workers. The content focuses on practical regulations, close to the daily rights of workers, helping them to correctly perceive their responsibilities and rights.
The conference also created conditions for workers to boldly ask questions and openly discuss difficulties and problems in the process of implementing the social insurance regime, thereby limiting unnecessary disadvantages due to lack of information or misunderstanding of policies.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Permanent Vice President of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation - emphasized the proactive role of each worker in participating in social insurance as an essential right, and at the same time a guarantee for the future.
He also requested the Trade Union of Tinh Loi Garment Company Limited to continue to promote propaganda, consultation and supervision of the implementation of social insurance policies at enterprises, promptly reflecting arising issues to protect the legitimate rights of union members and workers.
The conference contributed to raising awareness of workers, trade unions and enterprises about social insurance policies, thereby creating consensus in implementation, contributing to protecting the rights of workers and promoting the stable and sustainable development of enterprises and localities.
