The information that TV Primary School (Xuan Huong Ward, Da Lat, Lam Dong) was accused of signing a contract with a low-quality food supplier to serve boarding meals for students has caused a stir in public opinion in recent days.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, one of the 7 kitchen staff who filed the complaint, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the kitchen department has detected 6 times that the supplier brought food with unusual signs such as: foul-smelling pork bones; unlabeled, foul-smelling beef balls; boiled pork with a green color, strange smell; pre-shed beef is wet, foul-smelling; shrimp has blackheads.

According to Ms. Thanh, when they found that the food was not of good quality, the kitchen department reported it to the school leaders and proposed a plan to return the food to the supplier or destroy it to ensure the health of the students.
"When there are complaints and recommendations, the pork bones must be returned (the school returns them to the food supplier - PV). Green meat on March 5, 2025 and April 15, 2025 will be sealed, returned to the supplier, and destroyed. Most of the rest are for students to eat, said Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh.
According to Ms. Thanh, from March to April 2025, the kitchen department twice requested the leaders of T.V Primary School to organize a meeting with the food supplier to handle the problem or change the supplier. However, this proposal was not approved by the school's leadership.

Ms. Thanh said that she and 7 colleagues had their labor contracts terminated at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. However, the fact that she and her colleagues denounced the school about the problem of poor quality food did not come from being fired, not for personal gain but for conscience, wanting to protect the rights of students.
Before the news of poor quality food entering the kitchen, many parents with children studying at T.V Primary School were upset and worried. In recent days, many families have come to school to pick up their children at home, refusing the boarding meals that the school has prepared.
Ms. L.D - the parent of a second-grade male student - shared: "Each lunch at school costs 30,000 VND and when registering for a boarding school, we have great confidence in the school. However, it was not until there was information denouncing dirty food on social networks that we learned about the incident.
According to Ms. D, the families hope that the authorities will intervene to clarify the incident. At the same time, parents requested the school to be transparent about food sources and suppliers, ensuring food hygiene and safety according to regulations.
Previously, Lao Dong reported that on Facebook, an account named "Nguyen Thanh" posted information about a unit that repeatedly provided poor quality food to T.V Primary School. Accordingly, in the 2024-2025 school year, the supplier has assigned the school 10kg of fragrant pork bones, showing signs of turning green; 35kg of frozen, fragrant beef balls, without packaging, labels; 60kg of boiled pork with dark green color, strange smell...
The incident has caused public outrage, dozens of parents with children studying at TV Primary School have come to the school to ask the principal to inform them about the incident.
On September 17, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward, Lam Dong Provincial Department of Education and Training requested the leaders of TV Primary School to report the incident.
According to the reporter's source, in the 2024-2025 school year, T.V Primary School will provide boarding for 720 students.
To ensure the meal, the school has signed contracts with 5 different food suppliers.
