For the press, this is a turning point when we both inherit a century of glorious tradition of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism and must be proactive, breakthrough, and bring the country into a new era.

Therefore, this year's Press Festival chose a theme that is deeply and comprehensively oriented: "Vietnamese Journalism - Loyalty, Creativity, Responsibility in the new era". These three keywords affirm the core mission of revolutionary journalists: Always absolutely loyal to the Party's ideals, the interests of the people; constantly innovate and apply modern technology; and at the same time enhance social responsibility and professional ethics in the cause of building a fair, democratic and civilized society.
The 2026 National Press Festival has a total of 87 booths from affiliated Journalists Associations, Journalists Branches, Journalists Associations of provinces and cities and press training and research institutions nationwide. The highlight of the Press Festival space is the Central Display Area - built as a journey connecting tradition and future. Through the system of images, documents, artifacts and the application of modern projection technology, the public will have the opportunity to look back at the development path of revolutionary journalism, and at the same time feel more clearly the requirements being set for journalism in the new context.

In addition, the 2026 Press Fair will be a vibrant professional exchange space with the National Press Forum including 11 in-depth discussion sessions. Here, managers, experts and journalists will jointly contribute ideas and frankly discuss hot issues of modern journalism such as: arranging the operation of press agencies; promoting the role of the press in protecting the ideological foundation of the Party; the press accompanies businesses to create the future; especially the problem of "AI - How to apply it, what to apply and how to control it in Vietnamese press agencies"...
