On May 23, the Hong Gai Ward Trade Union coordinated with grassroots trade unions in the area to organize the opening ceremony of the 14th Quang Ninh Provincial Culture and Sports Festival for workers, civil servants and laborers, 2026, Hong Gai ward cluster.
The festival was attended by leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of Hong Gai ward, and a large number of union members, civil servants, employees, athletes and fans in the area.
The activity was organized in the atmosphere of responding to Workers' Month 2026; celebrating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth; celebrating the success of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031.
Participating in the festival were 200 athletes from 19 agencies, units, and businesses in Hong Gai ward.
Athletes compete in 2 sports including pickleball and tug of war.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the competition content took place sôi nổi, attracting the cheers of a large number of union members and workers.
The festival is a healthy playground, helping union members and workers train their health and improve their spiritual life after working hours. This is also an opportunity for grassroots trade unions to strengthen connections and create bonds between workers in agencies, units, and businesses.
