The Da Nang City Labor Federation has just organized the implementation of ward and commune union activities for more than 50 delegates who are leaders of Departments, Offices, officers of the Organizing - Inspection Committee of the City Labor Federation and Chairmen of the Trade Unions (expected) of 13 wards and communes in the city.
According to the instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, commune and ward trade unions are established in places where there are 10 grassroots trade unions with 1,500 or more union members.
The grassroots trade union in each ward and commune is managed and directed by the trade union at the ward and commune level.
Grassroots trade unions located in wards and communes that are not eligible to establish trade union organizations or have a long distance, mountainous areas will be managed by neighboring trade unions or the City Labor Federation.
Grassroots trade unions in industrial parks, high-tech zones, economic zones and grassroots trade unions with specific characteristics and complex risks of labor relations will be directly directed by the City Labor Federation.
In Da Nang city, it is expected to establish 13 commune and ward unions. Accordingly, the Da Nang City Labor Federation (new) will have 22 commune and ward unions, including Da Nang City with 13 commune and ward unions, Quang Nam province with 9 commune and ward unions.
On this occasion, delegates attending the conference were also informed about the work of commune and ward union officials after the arrangement; deployment and guidance on the organization of activities, union models at the commune and ward levels and financial work of commune and ward unions after the arrangement.
