Ban Thach Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City held a Conference to announce the decision to establish Ban Thach Ward Trade Union and launch the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee
Attending were Mr. Tran Quoc Bao - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the Da Nang City Labor Federation; Mr. Vo Thanh Cung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Yen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Construction Committee of Ban Thach Ward, along with representatives of departments, ward unions and chairmen and vice chairmen of affiliated grassroots trade unions.
Ban Thach Ward Trade Union was established on the basis of receiving the transfer of 41 grassroots trade unions and 2917 union members of the Da Nang City Labor Federation to the Ban Thach Ward Trade Union for direct management. The Executive Committee of the Trade Union consists of 6 comrades; Comrade Huynh Tan Lich holds the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of Ban Thach Ward.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Tran Quoc Bao - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks of the Da Nang City Labor Federation suggested that after coming into operation, the Ban Thach Ward Trade Union should focus on discussing and promulgating the working regulations of the Trade Union Executive Committee.
Develop the content and program of activities for the last 6 months of 2025 in accordance with local conditions; focus on organizing the Congress within no more than 12 months from the date of establishment, especially the work of mobilizing, establishing affiliated grassroots trade unions, developing union members and proactively grasping the thoughts and aspirations of union members, taking good care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
