In today's trading session, July 28, stocks continued to compete in a tight race from the beginning of the session, helping the market maintain its acceleration momentum, the VN-Index climbed to a new peak of 1,550 points.
At the end of the morning session, the HOSE floor had 241 stocks increasing and 91 stocks decreasing, the VN-Index increased by 18.93 points, to 1,550.06 points. The total trading volume reached more than 1.06 billion units, worth VND 26,612 billion.
The VN30 group also increased by more than 18 points with 20 codes increasing and only 7 codes decreasing. Of which, the two real estate stocks with the strongest declines were VHM down 1.6% and BCM down 1.3%.
In terms of industry groups, stocks are still a bright spot in the market with VND, VIX, AGR codes all showing off their purple color with a huge ceiling buy volume, of which VIX matched 27.3 million units and VND matched more than 36.2 million units; DSE, BSI, VDS, ORS, CTS, FTS codes could not keep the ceiling price, but closed all increased quite strongly by over 5-6% and liquidity was bustling...
The remaining pillar stocks, banks and steel, also extended their increase towards the end of the session thanks to strong absorption demand. In the steel group, HPG closed the session up 2.1% with liquidity only losing to SHB with nearly 71.7 million units; NKG increased ceiling and joint 31.25 million units with a ceiling purchase volume of more than 1.2 million units, HSG increased by 4% and matched nearly 15.1 million units.
The flexible circulation of cash flow between industry groups helps the market continue to attract new cash flow and maintain high liquidity, especially during the period when large organizations are considering the possibility of upgrading.
Notably, cash flow only really participates strongly in groups with truly positive business prospects thanks to positive macro factors such as the securities group with the story of upgrading the market; the banking group with the story of boosting credit growth and having a better mechanism to control bad debts; the residential real estate group with the process of removing legal problems for projects and the real estate market actually recorded positive signals again...
According to experts, the VN-Index is trading at 14.83 times P/E - only 3.3% higher than the average for the period 2020 - July 2025. In addition, the macro picture is also developing favorably for listed companies to continue to improve business operations in 2025.
Accordingly, credit growth continued to be accelerated, reaching 9.9% by the end of June. Public investment activities have been promoted and 32.5% of the assigned plan has been completed. exchange rates continue to be controlled and FDI capital continues to flow strongly into Vietnam, reaching 21.5 billion USD as of the end of June.
Therefore, it is entirely feasible for the market to continue to set new peaks in the remainder of 2025, especially when the Government is determined to remove remaining obstacles to complete the market upgrade target in 2025.
