The Executive Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation has 32 members, the Standing Committee consists of 15 members, and the Inspection Committee consists of 8 members.
The apparatus of the Da Nang City Labor Federation currently has a Trade Union Working Committee - monitoring and advising the Standing Committee to direct the activities of grassroots trade unions outside industrial parks; The Trade Union Committee of industrial parks - directly monitoring, advising and directing grassroots trade union activities in industrial parks and export processing zones.
The Da Nang City Labor Federation currently has 24 commune and ward unions, 1,720 grassroots unions with 214,861 union members.
The Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation stated: In the context of Vietnam's international integration, the implementation of new-generation free trade agreements, the emergence of labor representative organizations at enterprises as well as the complex and unpredictable impacts of the international political and economic situation will greatly affect the situation of workers, especially making the workers' security situation more complicated. Along with that, in the new context, the new situation with higher requirements to build a new Da Nang City to develop strongly and reach new heights will pose many challenges for the Trade Union organization.
To meet the new requirements, the City Labor Federation synchronously implements key solutions and priorities: Immediately put into operation the new Trade Union organizational apparatus, develop working regulations of the Executive Committee, review and develop a key work program for the last 6 months of the year, and propose tasks and solutions to successfully implement the goals and targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Focus on building a dynamic team of union officials to meet the requirements of new tasks. "We thoroughly educate union officials and union members to be close to the grassroots and union members to grasp and support in a timely manner, handle the situation of worker security and arising issues at enterprises, prevent hot spots related to labor relations, resolve labor disputes, collective work stoppages, and illegal strikes" - Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh said. Focus on developing union members and establishing grassroots unions. Not only focusing on developing trade unions in enterprises, the Da Nang City Labor Federation also focuses on establishing trade unions, thereby attracting and gathering more subjects to trade union organizations according to the provisions of the Trade Union Law and the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union.
Concentrate resources to carry out care and organization of activities at non-state sector units, to affirm the role and functions of the Trade Union organization as well as enhance the stature of the organization in the new situation. The top priority at present is to focus on reviewing contents related to negotiations, collective labor agreements, and dialogues at the workplace. These are contents practically related to the rights of employees, ensuring harmonious labor relations in enterprises as well as in the city.
