Here, the representative of the City Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 60 workers working at this company to the Trade Union; the decision to establish a company-based trade union.
At the same time, the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Kozocom Vietnam Co., Ltd. was announced, consisting of 5 members. Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang - IT Specialist - was appointed as Chairman of the Trade Union.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang - Chairman of the union said: "In the coming time, the Executive Committee of the grassroots union will strive to build a strong union, care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, and build a grassroots union to develop more and more.
We are also aware that, in addition to advantages, there will be many difficulties in the coming time. In addition to the efforts of the Executive Committee, we really need the leadership and direction of the Ward Union and the City Labor Federation, the coordination of the Company's Board of Directors, and the support of the collective of employees to continue to complete the assigned tasks well".
Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Van Dai - Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said that the establishment of the Trade Union organization at Kozocom Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a milestone affirming the growth of the team of workers and trade union organizations, contributing to the common house of more than 214,000 union members with 1,744 grassroots trade unions in the city after the merger of Da Nang and Quang Nam.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions is of great significance, affirming the role and responsibility of trade union organizations in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. In addition, the trade union also participates with the government in protecting workers and doing propaganda and political and ideological education.
