On April 7, information from the Krong Bong District Labor Federation said that the unit had just coordinated with the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation and the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) - Dak Lak Branch to organize the handover of "Union Shelter" housing to union members in difficult circumstances.
The program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); Towards the 60th anniversary of the Liberation of H9 - Krong Bong District (9.5.1965 - 9.5.2025) and 71 years of victory of Dien Bien Phu (7.5.1954 - 7.5.2025).
The "Union Shelter" house was built on a level 4 scale, with a corrugated iron roof and brick floor, with a usable area of over 80m2. The total construction cost was over 300 million VND.
Of which, the Provincial Federation of Labor and VietinBank Dak Lak supported 50 million VND from the "Union Shelter" Fund. The rest was saved by the family and supported by relatives.
This is a practical concern of the trade union organization and enterprises to share difficulties, help union members have conditions to settle down, stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
On this occasion, union member Phan Thi Thuy Hang expressed her deep gratitude to all levels of trade unions and banks of VietinBank - Dak Lak Branch for their timely attention and support so that the family can have a new, spacious and warm house.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phu Lap, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor, highly appreciated the solidarity and mutual support of the Dang Kang Secondary School Union for union members in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Lap believes that with the new home, Ms. Hang's family will continue to strive to overcome difficulties, complete their tasks well, and actively participate in union activities.
According to the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor, the "Union Shelter" program in recent times has become a solid support for union members with difficult housing circumstances.
Although the support level is not large, this is the motivation for families to mobilize more social resources to build their dream homes.
Thereby, contributing to creating cohesion between union members and the trade union organization, creating motivation for those in difficult circumstances to rise up in life and work.
