Units absolutely must not allow strikes or unpaid salaries and bonuses during Tet."
KVD Vina Company Limited is one of the units with the largest number of workers in Tan An Industrial Park in particular and Dak Lak province in general with the number of more than 2,000 people.
The company representative said: "During the upcoming Lunar New Year, we will ensure salaries and bonuses for employees. Payments will be made according to the announced time. Thereby, avoiding unnecessary labor conflicts and disagreements."
Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - Pham Ngoc Nghi has requested departments, branches and localities to proactively monitor the situation of labor relations in enterprises. Thereby, implementing measures to prevent and limit labor disputes from occurring before, during and after Tet.
Authorities are concerned with supporting workers who have suffered a sharp reduction in income, lost their jobs, or are underemployed. Businesses must ensure timely payment of salaries and bonuses (if any) to workers.
The province will grasp the labor situation in industrial parks and industrial clusters, creating favorable conditions for workers to take Tet holiday and return to work after Tet.
