On September 18, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation organized a meeting and dialogue between Dak Lak provincial leaders and workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union officials in 2026.
Here, many opinions of workers and trade union officials focused on issues of employment, vocational training, income, social insurance and ensuring legitimate rights.
At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Thao, a union member of the Trade Union of Luc Thiem Dak Lak Garment Co., Ltd., requested provincial leaders to announce key solutions and policies in the coming time to effectively connect labor supply and demand.
Ms. Thao also proposed that the locality pay attention to supporting retraining, improving vocational skills and digital skills for workers and laborers.
Another issue of concern is the situation of salary arrears, late payment, and evasion of social insurance contributions at some businesses.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of International Kindergarten, said that besides many businesses that well comply with the law, there is still a situation of late payment, salary arrears, late payment or evasion of social insurance.
She requested provincial leaders to provide specific solutions in the coming time to improve the effectiveness of State management; strengthen inspection and examination and strictly handle enterprises violating labor, wage and social insurance laws.
Answering these questions, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province, said that communes and wards are currently implementing counseling, supporting job creation and improving vocational skills for workers.
The Department of Home Affairs is developing a plan and project to develop human resources, focusing on improving labor quality and training human resources suitable to the development needs of each sector.
Regarding the situation of evasion and debt of social insurance, Mr. Thuan said that the Department of Home Affairs has signed a program to coordinate with relevant units to propose solutions.
In the coming time, functional agencies will strengthen the handling of businesses that intentionally violate regulations.
Mr. Dao My, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, requested the Department of Home Affairs to continue to prioritize supporting vocational training, consulting, and job introduction for workers.
The Department of Home Affairs coordinates with relevant agencies to develop and implement inter-sectoral coordination regulations, promptly resolve the situation of salary arrears, debt and late payment of social insurance. Thereby, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
