On June 14, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation informed that in the first 6 months of 2026, trade union levels in the province have focused on deploying the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, especially at enterprises, industrial parks, industrial clusters...
Along with that, the Provincial Labor Federation launched and implemented the "Peak Day for developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions" associated with activities to celebrate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026).
The activity has created widespread spread, contributing to raising awareness of workers and employers about the role and position of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Thanks to the synchronous implementation of propaganda, mobilization and organizational development solutions, trade union levels in the province have newly admitted 6,632 union members.
The number of additional union members reached 4,850 people, exceeding 21% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (4,850/4,000 union members).
The whole province has newly established 26 grassroots trade unions, including 17 grassroots trade unions in units and enterprises with 25 or more employees. This result contributes to expanding the scope of activities of the Trade Union organization, improving the effectiveness of caring for, representing and protecting the rights of employees at enterprises.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Huyen - Standing Vice President of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation informed that, in order to continue to complete the 2026 goals, in the coming time, trade union levels in the province will promote the review and survey of enterprises that have not established trade union organizations; statistics on the number of workers who have not participated in the Trade Union to develop appropriate propaganda and mobilization plans.
At the same time, strengthen access to workers in the non-state sector, improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities, strive to complete and exceed targets on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions according to the set plan.
