On June 2nd, the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province said that in the first 6 months of 2026, the whole province provided career and employment counseling to 30,348 workers. Of which, 28,800 workers were counseled, introduced and found jobs, reaching 51.4% of the annual plan.
Along with domestic job creation, the activity of sending workers to work abroad continues to achieve many positive results. In the past 6 months, the whole province has had 1,500 workers leaving the country under contract, reaching 60% of the annual plan.
In addition, functional agencies have issued new, re-issued, extended, and revoked work permits and issued certificates of not being eligible for work permits for 78 cases according to regulations.
To achieve the above results, Dak Lak province has focused on improving the operational capacity of the employment service center system, expanding the labor market and diversifying job connection channels between businesses and workers.
The work of supporting workers going to work abroad under contract continues to be concerned, considering this as one of the important solutions to solve employment, increase income and improve the quality of life for people.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Thuan, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Home Affairs, said that from now until the end of the year, the Provincial Employment Service Center will strengthen coordination with businesses with the function of sending workers to work abroad under contracts, and together with the People's Committees of communes and wards, organize the selection of workers to participate in labor export programs.
Thereby, creating more job opportunities, contributing to increasing income and improving the lives of workers.
It is expected that in June 2026, the Provincial Employment Service Center will coordinate with localities to organize 12 conferences to propagate, advise, introduce domestic jobs and send Vietnamese people to work abroad under contracts. At the same time, organize 10 job transaction sessions to strengthen labor supply and demand connections, meeting the recruitment needs of businesses and the job search needs of workers.
