In January 2026, the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee issued a directive on organizing the 2026 Binh Ngo Tet in the province, with the highest requirement of ensuring the material and spiritual life of the people, especially workers and vulnerable groups in society.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requests Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to strengthen solidarity and unity within the Party, creating consensus in society.
One of the key tasks emphasized is to urgently overcome the consequences of natural disasters, accelerate the progress of repairing and building new houses and essential public works damaged, and ensure that people have safe and stable accommodation to celebrate Tet.
The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee requests to fully and promptly implement social security and welfare policies according to the regulations of the Central Government and the province.
In which, special attention should be paid to ensuring that civil servants, public employees, and workers are fully paid salaries and bonuses and are arranged for Tet holidays in accordance with regulations, so as not to let the situation of salary and bonus arrears occur at the end of the year.
Along with that, localities and units need to develop specific plans to care for and ensure the material and spiritual life of the people, especially those in difficult circumstances, vulnerable people, people in remote and isolated areas, areas affected by natural disasters, border areas, islands..., ensuring that all people have a joyful Spring and welcome Tet.
Workers' expectations
In the days leading up to Tet, besides the expectation of family reunions, what workers are most concerned about is whether salaries and bonuses are paid fully and on time or not.
For many workers, it is not only income after a year of hard work, but also a support to take care of a full Tet for family, parents and children.
Therefore, the policy of Khanh Hoa province on ensuring that workers are fully paid salaries and Tet bonuses has created more trust and peace of mind for workers before the New Year.
Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Van Huy (32 years old, a worker working at Suoi Dau Industrial Park) said that this information made him and many colleagues very excited.
We workers only hope to receive enough salary and bonuses at the end of the year to cover expenses, shop for Tet, and send a little money back to my parents' hometown. Listening to the province's drastic direction not to owe salary and bonuses, everyone is more reassured, and working with more spirit. With full salary and bonuses, Tet will be complete," Mr. Huy confided.
