"Some people work for 30-35 years but retire with a salary of only about 6 million VND/month, the highest is nearly 7 million VND/month" - Mr. Quyet said.
According to Mr. Quyet, Company Limited MTV 19.5 built a salary level as a basis for paying social insurance for employees based on the actual situation and conditions of the enterprise. Previously, for direct production workers, the company calculated a coefficient of 1.1 multiplied by the regional minimum wage, applying 9 salary grades.
When the trade union wants to increase benefits for employees, we proactively propose, share, and exchange more, and the company's leaders agree to adjust the salary coefficient. Previously, the base coefficient was 1.1, now adding 0.11, to a new coefficient of 1.21, thanks to which all salary levels have increased, and social insurance contributions have also increased by an equivalent of 7%. This coefficient has been applied at the company from June 1, 2026, for all officials, employees, and workers" - Mr. Quyet said.
Thanks to the increase in the coefficient, the salary level as the basis for social insurance contributions of employees also increased. Converted to money, each year Company Limited MTV 19.5 contributes nearly 300 million VND more to the Social Insurance Fund.
Mr. Quyet said that all employees in the company are happy and happy because this is a policy regime they are directly and long-term beneficiaries of.
Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Thao - office staff of May 19 MTV Co., Ltd. - shared that from the proposal of the trade union, the company's leaders assigned the grassroots trade union, office, and finance department to discuss, calculate, and balance to propose an increase. Restructuring the regulations on salary payment for employees
According to Mr. Le Van Quyet, currently the grassroots trade union of Company 19.5 has 1,131 union members and workers. Employment and life of union members and workers are guaranteed, average income in the first 6 months of 2026 reached 15 million VND/person/month.
Most of the union members are contract workers from different localities, living conditions are still difficult, the proportion of union members who have to rent houses accounts for 60% of the union members of the unit, of which about 40% are workers in difficult circumstances" - Mr. Quyet said.
In that context, the negotiation, development and implementation of collective labor agreements are always focused on by the grassroots trade union to ensure the highest rights for employees, based on the consensus of the company's leaders.
Over the past time, the Board of Directors of the company and the grassroots trade union have coordinated to implement labor agreements, always achieving good results, creating unity and a close relationship between employers and employees.
Many contents in the collective labor agreement focus on caring for the material and spiritual life of workers. Typical examples include trade unions coordinating with the government to effectively implement regimes and policies for workers (ensuring full implementation of regimes on social insurance and health insurance); coordinating with the government to implement the regional minimum wage; re-establishing regulations on salary payment for workers, all salary levels are increased by 0.11 applicable from June 1, 2026.
The grassroots trade union also always proactively grasps the thoughts of union members and workers, reflects to the Party Committee and unit leaders, and promptly removes difficulties and obstacles in work so that workers can feel secure in their work, contributing to building harmonious and stable relationships" - Mr. Le Van Quyet affirmed.
