Speaking at the opening of the conference, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Thai Thu Xuong informed that recently the Politburo decided to appoint Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central mass organizations and introduce him to be elected to hold the position of President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, term 2023-2028.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations issued a Decision appointing comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central mass organizations, former Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour for the term 2025-2030.
At the same time, the Politburo decided to transfer and assign comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the VGCL to receive work and hold the titles of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Standing Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
