On February 5th, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) visited, presented gifts and wished Tet to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh (97 years old), in La Thap Dong village, Thu Bon commune, Da Nang city.
Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh has a husband and two children who sacrificed in the resistance war against the US for national salvation, raising 7 children to adulthood alone. For many years, Mother has been taken in by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour to support.

Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour cordially inquired about the health and expressed deep emotion and gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of Mother; and shared the joy that Mother is always cared for and cared for by all levels of government and local people. Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan also acknowledged that many trade union members who are children of martyrs are given job opportunities and stable lives by agencies and businesses in the locality.
On this occasion, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour presented 20 million VND in support money and Tet gifts from the General Confederation and Da Nang Labor Federation, wishing Mothers always good health, welcoming a warm Binh Ngo Tet 2026 with their children and grandchildren, and continuing to be a role model for officials, union members, and workers to follow.

Through visiting and wishing Tet to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, leaders of the VGCL affirmed their desire to continue to promote the "Gratitude" movement, strengthen care for policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution, thereby fostering the trust of union members and workers in the Trade Union organization.
