Giving Tet gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour to Vinh Long workers

Vinh Long - The Tet gift-giving activity of the Trade Union organization shows timely concern and sharing, helping workers feel secure at work and celebrate a warm and meaningful Tet.

On February 8, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) - visited and presented Tet gifts to workers and laborers of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company - Dong Lanh Ben Tre Branch, in a bustling and joyful atmosphere in the early spring days.

Also attending the program were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, local leaders, business leaders and a large number of union members and workers working at the company.

Here, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Committee of Vinh Lon Provincial Party Committee - presented 231 Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of 331,300,000 VND. The gifts carry the feelings and timely encouragement of the Trade Union organization, contributing to warming workers' hearts when Tet comes and spring returns.

Receiving Tet gifts, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vinh - a worker of the company - expressed his joy and emotion at the concern of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Trade Unions at all levels and businesses.

Mr. Vinh said that Tet gifts are not only material support but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers feel secure at work and have more conditions to take care of their families during Tet.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong emphasized that caring for the lives of union members and workers is always the central and consistent task of the Trade Union organization. Especially during the Lunar New Year, visits and gift-giving activities are even more practical, clearly showing the trade union's role in accompanying and sharing with workers.

Ms. Thai Thu Xuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination and companionship of businesses in taking care of welfare, creating stable jobs, ensuring income and working environment for workers. At the same time, she wished businesses to continue to pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of workers, and together with the Trade Union organization build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

On the occasion of the New Year, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong sent wishes to workers and their families to welcome a joyful and warm spring, continue to enthusiastically work and produce, contributing to the sustainable development of businesses and localities.
