On November 6, the Can Tho City Labor Federation held a conference to collect comments (2nd time) on the draft document submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party in Vi Thanh Ward.
At the conference, more than 50 delegates who are union officials, union members, and outstanding workers of Can Tho City in Vi Thanh Ward expressed their agreement with the draft document.
Many comments focused on issues such as: building trade union institutions and social housing for workers in industrial parks; creating conditions for training and developing party members in enterprises; applying digital technology to provide legal support to union members; promoting digital transformation in the organization and operation methods of trade unions; and further supplementing the tasks of grassroots trade unions in state-owned joint stock enterprises to promote the representative role of trade union organizations in the new situation.
Mr. Le Cong Khanh - Head of the Trade Union Working Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged and highly appreciated the enthusiastic, responsible, intellectual and practical contributions of the participating delegates. The comments not only closely follow the spirit of the draft document's content, but also reflect issues related to the field of work, life, legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees.
According to the Can Tho City Labor Federation, the conference was held to create conditions for union officials, union members, and employees to directly participate in discussions, contribute key and valuable opinions, uphold the sense of responsibility and promote intelligence and democracy in draft documents. These opinions will deeply reflect the actual situation of labor, production, and life at the grassroots level. Thereby, helping the documents to be completed in a practical and practical manner.
